No-Gelatin Halal Gummy Bears

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fruit juice (like pomegranate or orange)

  • 2 tbsp halal-certified agar agar

  • 1–2 tbsp honey or sugar

Instructions:

  1. Heat juice and sweetener in a saucepan.

  2. Whisk in agar agar until fully dissolved.

  3. Pour into silicone molds and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Why It’s Halal: Unlike traditional gummy candy, agar agar is a plant-based gelatin substitute — no pork or animal-based gelatin needed
